Watch me take my truck, under $100, and a Facebook account and turn it all into pure profit. Three lawnmowers and under one day's worth of work (total) is all it took. This side hustle can be done by anybody- it's much simpler than you might think.

Hell yeah dude, the first thing I ever flipped was a push lawn mower, moved up to cars, then houses, and boom. Now I own the houses and rent them.

Dude I saw your vid and gave it a try. I’m on my second lawnmower flip. Made 400 profit on my first flip. Good content bro!

Been doing this for a few years. My flips are a little more extensive. I always fully service the units (new oil, filter, air filter). I always sharpen all blades. I also check both the deck and drive belts, and if they are frayed, I replace them. I normally have between $200-$400 into a unit, and always double my money if not more. I mostly sell things to friends and neighbors, so I want to make sure I didn't just clean up a problem and pass it along. My mower flipping has branched into ATV flipping now too. A little more risk there because repairs are often more expensive and complicated, and parts can be pricey or hard to find, but when you get a good one, the upside is great! Nice content and keep up the good work!

Nice thing about mowers is that there’s no titles, no registration.

My starter is an 025 saw I got from my work (we do equipment repair/sales/rentals). I paid $50 for it and the carb kit was like $13. It still won’t stay idling but it could need cleaned again, a carb tune, or something else that’s cheap. Then I can easily get $100-200 for it. I bought it almost a year ago so it’s almost like pure profit.

Plus I need to declutter anyways, I’m about to lose a whole lot of storage space when I move out.

It's a slippery slope if you do it right. I thought I'd try this. Found a tractor for $100. Guy said it needed a starter. Took starter apart, cleaned it, works fine. The carb was flooding the cylinder causing a hydro lock. Snowballed from there. Replaced a bunch of parts including the carb. Got about $350 into it and sold for $400. Not worth it to me. First and last flip for me. I can't hustle people by a battery and a wash job and be able to sleep at night knowing I sold them a pos without doing all those repairs.

I've flipped three already since I retired in March. First up was a craftsman r1000 bought for $300, sold for $760. Second was a FREE 22yr old Scotts S1742 that I sold for $550, for a net profit of $490. Third was a nice troybilt bronco with bagger bought for $250, sold for $850, for a net profit of $760. I just bought a craftsman LT1000 yesterday for $75, I expect to sell it for about $450 or so. I'm supposed to go get a troybilt pony tomorrow for $220. It runs and goes, but deck needs work on a pulley. Should be able to sell it for about $500-600 I think. Also, I bought a pretty nice Toro SW5000 zero turn last may for $500 that I've put about $250 in to make it a nice running mower. I think I could sell it for at least $2000, but I'm holding that one as my personal mower for the time being. 😂 Having fun in retirement by flipping lawnmowers and making money lol.

I was second guessing myself if it was a good side hustle. Thank you. Gonna give it a try

I do this except with self propelled lawn mowers. It definitely pays. Most the time they are free. But I am willing to pay 60 to 80 bucks for hondas. Sell each lawn mower 150 to 225. I started with old beaters and they didnt sell, learned my lesson. Lost 400 bucks. But then I learned. Nice lawn mowers, pay low sell high. Let me tell you by the end of this season, I'll have a few grand maybe more. Just side hustle. It's pretty fun honestly. The cool thing about it if you get burnt out, you can post a free ad and other lawn mower guys come and get it. Then rinse and repeat each season. Its literally an extra few grand a year.

Great content. Can you make more mowers videos & show what other repairs you can expect to make besides battery & wash.

This makes it clear that opportunity often comes up dressed in overalls looking like hard work. That's why.ost people miss them.

Hey Tom, I went a bit deeper and started buying vintage garden tractors and restoring them I am restoring a John Deere 110 (1967) with a Model 20 compressor attachment. I was a chemical engineer in another life before the plandemic.
