*spoilers kinda*The new movie coming out in December changes the whole story/backstory completely and I'm not a fan of it. Changing it to mufasa actually being an orphan instead of being blood brothers with scar which is what the original story stated trys to make people feel bad for scar, personally not a fan of Disney trying to change backstorys like that on the fly

I wish it was animated. I just can't connect to the characters they just look like any other lions. Would've been cool to see how exactly the animated Mufasa and Scar looked like as cubs to young adults with their color schemes

They jacked up the original story as Scar mentions being at the shallow end of the gene pool in the original, meaning Mufasa wasn't an orphan.

I don’t like they changed it around. Cause the animated movie from 1994 is a tale based on Hamlet and they decided to switch it around making Mufasa and Scar not related biologically.
