Ranking every aspect in Destiny 2. Thought it would be a fun thing to do before we get some new aspects and presumably some sandbox changes.

On your mark is S tier for hunters specifically for the handling. People really seem to undermine how important handling is in pve, especially in damage rotations. Max handling off a marksman dodge supercharges your rotations and allows you to just pump out so much damage.

On top of this, it also has 3 fragments.

The wanderer has a special interaction with Swarmers that creates a loop because you’re threading create tangles, and now they also unravel, which allows you to create two separate tangles. Plus your tangles now drop two more threading, as well as a suspending burst to restart the process.

Why did you rank tectonic harvest as a warlock aspect? It's a titan aspect.

Weavewalk is absolutely amazing, but it just feels really bad to try slotting it into a build since generation and warding are basically must-picks, meaning that there’s only one slot open for personal preference if you have the aspect equipped. Just give it an extra fragment slot and it’ll be absolutely top tier, and the QoL changes would be nice too.

You’ve probably noticed the mistake you made with the stasislock aspects by now but I honestly don’t blame you for not being sure what the warlock’s harvest aspect even is since there’s been literally zero reason to run it ever since they removed elemental shards. Apparently tectonic harvest (the titan harvest aspect) is pretty decent though.

I thought wanderer was bad when it first released, but after experimenting with it pairing it with either weavewalk or mindspun its acc so good. A tier for sure, then S tier for feed the void.

I think that gunpowder gamble is way better than consecration. It absorbing your grenade is really not a problem, you just have to be aware of if you have it or not. You get basically the same damage in a projectile you can throw from cover, and it takes no ability energy. If the tradeoff for GPG is having it overwrite your healing grenade in order to #1 throw from cover, and #2 not take ANY ability energy I think thats well worth it. Sure consecration can be used on demand, but GPG is so easy to get and holding it for later is really not a big deal. As long as you are aware if you have it and are surrounded by enemies, you can throw it at your feet then throw a healing nade right after, run into cover, and then the GPG kills everything and extends your resto. It has a higher skill ceiling sure, but it just has so many benefits

I really hope all light subclasses get 4 aspects each just like the darks as well as some more new supers for the classes that don’t have 3 not to mention the darkness ones got to get 2 more supers each

I have to respectfully disagree with the weavers call versus the wanderer. Weavers call is essentially 3 theadlings on a rift as the second part is pointless as threadlings will go off without it with about any damage. Id think the wanderer is more worthwhile as it can suspend in ad dense encounters without a grenade plus it tracks when thrown.

Ideas for what might be changed?=

Arc Titan
Thundercrash sucks without Cuirass
Juggernaut is a useless aspect
++ Boost base thundercrash damage, keep Cuirass damage the same
++ Add the Electric Armor (DR while amplified) artifact mod effect to the Juggernaut aspect

Void Titan
Void overshields are too fragile and also make offensive bulwark inconsistent. Bastion uptime is low because of PvP cooldown nerfs
Bannershield doesnt provide enough utility to merritt its damage loss
++ Increase the PvE DR of void overshields
++ Offensive bulwark: lingers for 5 seconds after losing your overshield
++ Bastion: Kills heal and pause the countdown of barricades, extending their duration
++Sentinel shield throws apply 30% weaken

Stasis Titan
–Harvest aspect lackluster
–Cryoclasm has no use in PvE
++ Tectonic harvest: Collecting 6 stasis shards causes your next stasis final blow to spawn a Stasis crystal
++ Cryoclasm: Shattering stasis crystals leaves behind whirlwinds that slow combatants
[Spawns the slowing stasis whirlwinds that ravenous taken acolytes spawn]

Arc hunter
–Tempest strike/flow state are weak, but don't want to buff lethal current loop.
–No aspects for ranged gameplay at all.
++ Tempest strike: Damage tripled while amplified
++ Flow state: while amplified, precision final blows create blinding explosions

Solar hunter
Weak survivability compared to Solar Titan/Warlock
++ On your mark: Knife precision hits give cure x1
++ Gunpowder gamble detonation gives cure x1

Void hunter
–Only suppressor grenade for suppression
Spectral blades is absolute garbage
–No offensive effects
++ Snare bomb suppresses enemies that it directly sticks to
++ Quadruple spectral blades damage
++ Stylish executioner: Activating stylish executioner temporary replaces your melee with a void throwing knife that suppresses enemies
++ Vanishing step: Dodging temporarily replaces your grenade with a bomb that makes nearby enemies volatile, like gunpowder gamble.

Strand hunter
–Weak survivability options.
++ Threaded specter: Gain woven mail if your threaded specter is destroyed by an enemy
++ Ensnaring slam: Suspending 3+ enemies with the slam grants woven mail

Stasis Hunter
–Weak super
–Harvest aspect lackluster
–No reward for the close range risk of using shatterdive on enemies
++ (Super) Add a second cast of silence and squall to the super, like how shadowshot mobeus quiver has 2 charges
++ Grim harvest: Collecting 6 stasis shards replaces your grenade with a stasis splinter like gunpowder gamble that creates a freezing blast
++ Shatterdive: Shattering stasis encased enemies with shatterdive summons an AOE maelstrom around you that periodically slows enemies
