I'm the Internet Privacy Guy. I'm a public interest technologist. I'm here to educate. You are losing your Internet privacy and Internet security every day if you don't fight for it. For my own part, the harder companies try to market to me, to push me into being someone they can milk for cash, the more I withdraw from the internet. Eventually, if they push hard enough, I just give it up entirely and take my free time back to the library, like how I used to do for decades.

The core message here is: fear your government, but in free societies governments should fear the people. If your government abuse their power by putting innocent people on secret discriminatory lists, they violate human rights law. As free people whom our governments serve, we have every right to demand our governments remove us from such lists since we are not criminals by association.

How to have privacy on the internet:
1 throw phone off bridge into ocean
2 move to the bush
3 dont talk to anyone who owns a phone
4 tell anyone who owns a phone to never talk about you again
Totally doable 😅

How to recognize propaganda:

1) When given a problem, fear rather than reason is used to present the solution.

2) When you're pressured into accepting the solution.

3) When you're not allowed to question the solution.

4) When the solution involves surrendering your freedoms.

5) When your eyes see one thing, but you are compelled to believe a different thing.

6) When the solution means giving small groups of people control over larger and larger things.

7) When dissenters are censored for refusing to accept the solution.

8) When dissenters are targeted by accusations from different sources, suddenly and all at once.

The important message I get is that once your information is out there, its out there forever. it’s almost un reversible without a complete change of personal identity..and a major change to lifestyle habits..we were muppet’s for falling into the social media and google data traps.

I'll be honest, this video helps me worry LESS about my privacy since it's almost impossible to prevent it

Love how you get straight to the point. Some creaters babble incessantly before getting to the point. Thank you!

Dear Rob, I was one of the first testers of Palatier, we're all on the list, everything we've ever done has been recorded, all the way back to PSTN: there's no way to get off the list. You can be tracked by your keystrokes alone, there's no way to have anonimity anymore.

Amazing how intricate email has become. I, for one, would welcome two tin cans and a string as our primary means of communication.

When this video was filmed I would have been the first to tell you that 3 letter agencies want to track you *far less* than commercial entities do, but now we have both authoritarian government, tracking being the least of it, AND we have constant ads in our faces all the time!
