That was like watching a baseball game where the first 3 pitches were all home runs. Absolutely stunning results.

When I look for a thrift flip video, THIS is what I mean. So helpful.

THE DRESS!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Sorry, Calvin, but that is totally what that dress is meant to be! Looks amazing on you, with and without the godets. And the top is so cute as well! What a great summer staple, plus probably cute under a cropped cardigan. Great flips, Casey! Now I want to go thrifting…

I like the floral dress transformation. It definitely looks better than the original!

OMG the Freeze of Self-Doubt is so real! I love how the CK dress turned out. The pattern, a sort of "winter" floral with its black background, looks really nice with your skin tone and dark hair. P.S. The platform Tevas are the move, for sure!

Love what you did - you really transformed both dresses into gorgeous pieces and the jeans are perfect!

2nd video after I subscribed. Watched your video about making an folding ironing pad. One thing I learned over 5 decades of sewing and doing alterations as my body type yonung and now old is always estimate up an inch. I do a lot of empire seam alterations to many tops. One I;m short so shortening at waist or empire line is so much easier than trying to hem a knit. I learned on a straight stitch only Singer. I learned to add at least one inch even if you include a seam allowance and especially a top that has sleeves ADD an INCH for raising your arms! If you need length, as I usually attach bottom and back together for an elastic casing, an adjustment can be made by not making both sides a one inch seam allowance. You can attach with one folded for that. Wiggle room! Also no matter what happens below the but line like with sleeeves I only work on the fit to the armhole. In my older age I dont show my bat wings so often making lace sleeves to replace tshirt cap sleeves. I only trace the cap and leave the sleeve square which when worn like that is a slight bell. I decide after top is done if tapering it, gatherng it, gathering with ruffle and so on.

I really like how you share your thoughts while making the garments, it’s like talking to myself while sewing lol ❤❤❤❤

I loved all of them. You fixed those jeans quite proper. You are the only other person I have ever seen try stuff on inside out to pin it to perfection before sewing it, besides myself. Very well done. 😃

I would say “you missed your calling as a model” —but you’re doing it 🔥
Not to mention your architect-like strategies that really set your channel apart.
I only occasionally sew or do alterations, but your channel gives a lot of style inspo as well! You really got it all 💕

All so cute and really you. Ahh, the super power of sewing! Loved the dress and how you made a fix when it was too tight. Very inspiring.

So nice to see the thrift shopping first and the flips - I would love to see that for every season.

Awesome! I'm 5' tall and getting ready to tear (literally) into my wardrobe. Everything I buy is too big so this should be fun. Thanks for the educational tutorial.

I love to sew and love to repurpose stuff. The flowery fabric reminded me of a DOLCE & GABBANA dress I saw, which was ruched on the sides all the way down. Form fitting but the ruching makes it seem less tight…. Haha. Your redo looks very pretty! I would do a slit on the sides of the maxi dress just for movability. Leaving it maxi adds versatility to your wardrobe!! Lots of very casual “every day” maxis out there! You do such a great job!! Bravo! Consider doing a lil modeling on the side! ❤️👵🏻

This is just the second video that I've watched. I absolutely love this. It's going to be a marathon pattern scout watching day! I have so many things that I've been wanting to recreate in my closet!

That's not too tight 😁 You're fine! That looks SO good! The model must have been expensive to hire. She's so good-looking! 😉
