13 Spring Home Decor Ideas Using Thrift Store Finds/Spring Thrift Flips

In this video, I take easy to find thrift store items and transform them into spring home decor. The projects include a ceiling light fixture planter, a lamp bird nest, a mantel clock spring diorama, a 3D butterfly plate, round dragonfly and butterfly wall art, a vintage looking bunny canister, a vintage tin Easter centerpiece, a quilted (bedspread) banner, quilted carrots in carrot cans, a sweater sleeve nest, a trio of metal vases, a kitchen spoon bird nest with real eggshell, and an adorable floral lampshade.

Years ago (50 years) I made a collage of bird nest and bird with broken eggs that symbolized miscarriages that I'd had. Now that I'm older and have grown sons and grandchildren and even teenage great grandchildren, I am remaking that sad collage into a beautiful tribute to life. Thank you for your inspiring show... I watch you constantly and love your style... I even love your voice overs because you speak so well and don't say "Hi guys!" or other things that are simply silly sounding. I have a small collection of old clocks that I sprinkle around my house, but you have inspired me to do something fun with them. 😍💖💖

My husband and I have a custom furniture business and I am an artist as well. I have a huge collection of thrifted finds that I had always intended to upcycle into one of a kind creations and somehow add as an offering in our business. Problem is the styles don’t match. Our furniture and art are modern high end but my passion is what you do! I live for trash to treasure, shabby, French country, cottage gorgeousness! I had put all my treasures aside and planned to get rid of it and just focus on what we are doing, but when I see your videos I feel that spark! That is what gets me excited! Collecting interesting objects! The smell of glue sticks melting! When a piece just comes together with just tiny pieces of junk that you’ve stashed! Yep, that’s my passion! Sherry everything is so beautiful I will never get tired of watching you create! Dear Sherry, I have to be honest, I am starting to get a sore neck because everytime I watch you, my head go back and forth in disbelief as to how many ideas you come up with. I say to myself "how does she do it"? I never would think of doing these original transformations you do.
