AIT Director Raymond Greene has assumed office in Taiwan and has expressed support for Taiwan. At the same time, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson has called on countries attending the NATO summit in Washington to put pressure on the Chinese Communist Party. Meanwhile, just after 6 a.m. on Thursday, four Chinese coast guard vessels intruded into restricted waters off the coast of Kinmen.
