Easy and Simple Mob Xp Farm/Grinder, A very basic build but effective EASY MOB XP Farm Tutorial Minecraft 1.14.4 - 1.15

This Farm works in versions of minecraft 1.14, 1.14.1, 1.14.2, 1.14.3, 1.14.4 and versions before it and may be upcoming versions as well. If anyone has questions, feel free to ask!

If your mobs aren’t spawning it’s because they are spawning elsewhere like in caves so to avoid this u can either light up caves in radius of 128x128 which is harder or u can build a tiny platfrom 100 blocks right above your grinder so u can stand there and afk.

Just to throw out, this mob spawn does work in a survival world; however, it does need to be 128 blocks above the surface. Preferably over ocean. It works here because hes in a creative world with no caves under. If its not working its because it needs to be 128 blocks over the surface.

This tutorial would be good in regular speed because I'm not saying you but lots of people dont count the same on building blocks

If you need 20 stacks of cobblestone go strip mining at y11 you will have 20 stacks of cobblestone plus ores like iron, gold, redstone, lapiz lazuli, and diamonds

Something this fails to mention is that spiders will clog it up unless you put down slabs in some areas to stop them. Spiders need a 3x3 area to spawn, so putting slabs down on the areas the mobs spawn will help with that.

pro tip: build the bottom out of obsidian if possible to prevent creepers from destroying it

Usually these don't work but this time it actually works but the only problem is that the mobs get stuck on the ledges but other then that it's really good

Hey everyone, ive got some news using 1.14.4 i put hard settings and it seems like they aint falling down, i think its because they arent spawning up there when ur 128 blocks down, so i think u need to stay up there to afk farm. ill edit later and let you all know
