Im a violinist, I had this when I was 15. It got progressively worse everytime I played the violin, I literally couldnt lift up my middle finger without the pther hand helping. In my case I didnt need any surgery nor pshyiotherapist to get rid of it. Warm up stretch and rest your fingers everyday.

I deal with this daily, it’s called Dupuytrens contracture and as a result my pinky was amputated bc it was stuck in the "trigger finger” position.

People who are scared this can happen to you. Just do hand and finger stretches. Not only can it prevent trigger finger but you’ll have higher flexibility, blood flow, better coordination, and a more “free” feeling to your hand. It’ll feel brand new

I actually had this, it can go 2 ways:
1: it completely stays
2: it slowly fades away (what happened to me luckily)
If you are experiencing symptoms, visit a doctor immediately!

My mom had trigger finger and had to have surgery to fix it, and now I understand what was actually going on in her finger thanks to this video.

My friend had this on his pinkey finger... Many doctors wanted to do surgery but this one doc suggested heat and cold treatment with some finger exercises and some medicine to reduce inflammation. That's all he got his finger back to normal in 2 weeks

I went through this myself. I worked for a year in an automotive parts factory as a polisher in the injection area (the section where metal is melted, molded, and then polished after several processes). I remember waking up and finding my pinky finger completely stuck—really stuck—to the point where I had to use my other hand to forcefully pull it straight. And it wasn’t just me; several of my coworkers had swollen hands, sometimes to an abnormal size. All they gave us were anti-inflammatory pills and painkillers—what a time that was.

Now, a year later, I can move all my fingers normally again.

My dad has that and still has it. It doesn't move at all

I managed to stop this from continuing past the early stages by stretching it and massaging the effected area in varies helpful ways.

Isn't it Dupuytren's contracture?

My dad had this. He had to undergo surgery. He had immense pain after the anastesia stopped working and wasn't able to sleep for one night however he could on the second, now he's doing fine.
