Poor Man's Vice / Rope Vice / Windlass Vice - Part 1

We attempt to build a poor man's vice made from two pieces of wood, some plastic twine that we found, and some dowels.

This was our first time using a brace drill, so things didn't quite go a well as planned, but we learned a lot and had fun!

Oh, and a spoiler: We didn't end up blocking the doorway with a vice. I ended up using that doorway quite a bit in the winter months when it was too cold to open the garage door.
