This was a great review, totally answered all of my concerns. One of the issues you mentioned to me may not be so much of a disadvantage. The speakers in the mini are not an issue for me as the mini supports Bluetooth. Lately, the development of portable Bluetooth speakers has taken a very good turn and can easily provide that needed sound quality. Anyway, your review led me directly to the mini.

So, I was considering getting an iPad mini to take handwritten notes using my active stylus. However, from what you have, do you think the iPad mini is a good size for note taking on the go?

If you want a productive tablet get a samsung. If you want a fun tablet get an iPad.
