If all brands paid the same, most pros would wear mizunos. Thats why u see so many retired ones or non contract ones switch to mizuno when their deal with nike or adidas ends

Mizuno make easily among the best quality and class boots in the world. Its only due to Mizuno being a fairly small company (in comparison to Nike and Adidas) that they dont have a giant marketing and sponsorship budget. If they did a LOT more players in the top leagues would be wearing them.

Mizuno is very good brand despite having very less exposure via marketing. In Japan, its been used in badminton, football, tennis, volleyball etc.

Mizunos we’re pretty popular in the uk when I was a kid, in the 90’s. There were a lot more people wearing different brands like them and lotto with the odd rich kid wearing coloured Cronos(?), puma kings or adidas predators. I rarely see anyone wearing anything but adidas, Nike and puma now

They have had periods where they have had prominant stars use their boots. Growing up a player I loved that used Mizunos was Rivaldo many years ago. Maybe around 1998 / 2000?

Yes. I only know as I was about to buy a pair and that led me down the rabbit hole of finding your good channel and finding out about Sergio Ramos.
I’m in my 40s so that nostalgia with Rivaldo gives an old school vibe.

Mizuno are expensive but you get real quality for that price. They were always the pinnacle of boots when I was a kid 30 odd years ago.

I played all my life in Nike boots and recently switched to Mizuno because i saw them on many players especially Ramos who is one of my favs and i don’t regret it, at all, i truly think they are the best boots overall, a bit more pricey but they are worth it
