I let my kids wear makeup even in elementary school. It's usually not full face or everyday, but it's not a hill worth dying on. My oldest got acne early so offered some cover up. My youngest just likes shimmer. I started with very light options to play around with as the toy play make up set can have way more chemicals as less regulated than actual cosmetics. We've done dress up make up since tots. I really don't think it's a big deal. Also even if they wanted to look more grown up and/or sexy, I'd rather it be makeup that they can wipe off with a Kleenex than provocative clothing. A pouty lip is less problematic IMO than skimpy outfits that barely even cover what they should!

I am 11 and my mom says 15 is wear i can wear makeup but she thinks only wearing eyeliner and mascaras is enough for that age but only in special occasions but 8 don't want to wait 4 years and only to wear 2 things and once in a while that is why when i was 9 i bought a few makeup products and hide i form my mom i got away at first but the second time she found my makeup i my backip cuz i puted makeup in school only mascara and lip gloss orr even blush and a nude color of eyeshadow for school and in home a little more my mom worked at night so before i went ti sleep i took of my makeup cuz my mom came hime after work at 3 am and today i ased my mom yo buy me makeup for fall since fall is 15 days away and she said no you need to wear sunscreen and do sports like i hate sports and she said when i am 15 i can wear makeup but she says only in special occasions like a little bit of eyeliner and mascara that is makeup for her!? And the worst part isnthat she said i don't even have that match makeyp you are asking for but like i only wanted 13 makeup products! How is that suddenly too much!? I hate my

Im a friend of a parent who lets her daughter wear makeup and she’s 11yo. Full on makeup and I try to warn them of 1. Messing of your skin so young 2. Creepers on social media. They post all kinds of pictures with locations and I try to tell them it takes one weirdo to start stalking and boom, statistic.
