This has made a HUGE DIFFERENCE to my golf! The difference this change has made to my golf swing is absolutely huge! I've changed how far I stand to the golf ball by a small amount and the difference is huge! I am striking the golf ball so much better, striking the golf ball longer, striking the golf ball like the pros and so much further with both irons and driver! THIS IS an easy & simple way to get the correct distance to the golf ball every ingle time and for all golfers the difference is HUGE.

This drill has worked for all my clients no matter their age or ability! So many of my clients ask How Close Should You Stand to the Golf Ball? Is there a correct distance you should stand to the golf ball? how close to stand to driver? how close should I stand to the golf ball with driver? This video addresses these questions.

Golfers often have too much tension which means they often stand too close to the golf ball or too far away. Golfers, whether that be senior golfer, amateur golfer or professional golfer don't fully understand whether they are too close or too far from the golf ball.

I've now changed how far i stand from the golf swing. This is simple golf instruction. A lot of golfers tend to ask questions like how to hit driver straight, this can be beginner golf tips or professional, but knowing how close to stand to the golf ball is so important.

This will cover, how to stop slicing the golf all, golf grips hand position, how to hit your driver straight, hit a driver for beginners, golf driver drills, golf driver tips, golf swing drills, golf grip replacement, hit your driver further, golf set up,how far to stand from golf ball.

Great video, Alex. I never know how far to stand from the ball, and I'm sure it changes from day to day. Can't wait to try this next time I'm on the course. I do have a question for you. To watch your videos, I have to turn up the volume on my computer to full blast. When an ad comes on, it blows my ear drums. I never used to have this problem with your videos. It just started last week. Have you changed some equipment that you use to produce the videos?

I have been struggling with a handicap of 25-45 lost golf balls every 17.5 holes. Do you have any ball finding drills you could give us?

I had also been standing too close. I didn't use this exact method, but I backed off from the ball enough to let me get that lean forward, and it's contributed to less of the dreaded out to in swing.

I find that the way you explain things is brilliant. I have been shaving strokes off my game since implementing many of your techniques. Thank your VERY much!

When you bend down are you looking for the club head to be flat on ground or just however it lies ?

Thank you for your advice. When I look at you everything is clear to me, but when I get to the training ground I can't reach 200 yards with this stroke. What else should I do, because the swing speed I think is fast enough and I still have enough power, even though I am a senior.I have a Ping G425 CF driver, but maybe the shaft is too soft.I am training according to your advice and my goal is to have at least 40 yards longer stroke. What advice do you have for me.

Alex, I think a better way is to take your normal stance, grip the club in your left hand, then look through the leading edge of your left index finger with your dominant eye to your lead foot. Then pick a spot on your lead foot to consistently place your index finger where you feel comfortable. Do that consistently, and you will always be a consistent distance from the ball allowing for the varying lengths of the club shafts. Try it, it works, and you don't have to mark your shaft and place your club on the ground to get a consistent distance from the ball. I tend to line up my lead hand index finger with the tip of my lead foot big toe.

There are two advantages to my method. First, if you decide to alter the distance you stand from the ball at address, you don't have to re-mark your shaft. Second, if you want to choke up for a 3/4 shot, my method handles it automatically.

Are you saying at future setups, looking down the mark on the club will align with the line across the toes?

Cheers for this Alex. Superb tip! Went to Scottsdale Golf in Sale last week - the lads in the shop were brilliant!!

I try to understand what this mark does when you pick the club back up again?
