Swords of Northshire katana unboxing - Crummy Katana Reviews

Bought this sword early January 2017 and it just arrived.
Overall I like it, for a Chinese steel blade its about what I expected. I will be doing review on the sword in the coming days so stay tuned for that. Also any questions, please list them in the comments.

I have four Swords from Northshire, all katanas. First of all, you did not look at the packaging very well. If you had you would have seen that the Styrofoam is a two part box and very secure since it is wrapped with two kinds of tape. Little damage ever to the outside regardless of handling. There is a seam running around the whole box. Just cut through the tape along that seam and the box opens right up. I honestly wouldn't trust anyone with a sharp blade who could not open a box properly.

I just got a custom katana from SONS.. Quality is unquestionable..I got mine forged in 9260 steel..fit/finish is outstanding. My buddy has a $2k Citidal Katana.. I'll take my $280 SONS sword over his..he's even jealous.. his Citidal, the tsuka wrap, and the tsuba is lose..it came that way..A $2, 000 katana mind you..I've put my hands around quite a few high dollar katanas now..Cold Steel, Ronin, etc etc..guys, I bought a badass T10 Tanto from Hanbon forge off eBay..and the quality of the blade/fit/finish, is tremendous for the bucks..all I'm saying, don't get suckered in..sometimes you can get much more for your 💰, I'm here to tell ya..you cannot go wrong with Swords of Northshires custom swords..

Got to admit sword of Northshire are some the best swords you can get for the price

Let's see I'm cheap and bought probably the cheapest one they had to offer and I'm not impressed with the quality! Really! Really? Come on if you spend less than $500 on a Katana and it cuts you"ve got a deal.
