Sheffield born and bred, our city is grossly underrated. Yes, we have a lot of industry, I still work in steel manufacturing and proud to say I do in this famous city. Honestly, deserves more credit. The largest Theatre district outside London too 😊

Beautiful, diverse city with a great pub scene, great food scene, countless parks and easy access to the Peaks. I am from Rotherham next door which I hate. But I will always be proud of Sheff.

Sheffield's worst enemy is it's unpretentiousness. It doesn't shout like it's neighbours of Manchester & Leeds. But once you've discovered its secrets you're hooked like many visitors find and won't want to leave! I love your style guys. You definitely need more subscribers. By the way behind the green tardis is an old underground toilet which has been converted into a cocktail bar called Public. So there is sort of a secret club behind the tardis...

I'm proud to say I'm Sheffield born and bred, but ashamed to say I used to be one of the home grown haters until I met an American student. During our conversation, I mentioned how I thought the Steel city was a bit of a sh1thole. The young American guy looked at me as if I had two heads and was astounded! "You have no idea what you have here, do you?" He said in disgust. "Back home in Michigan we dream of places like this! You have an amazing city here, so so much on your doorstep"
When I thought about it I was humbled to think a 20something student from the USA loved MY city, and considered his words. You know what? He was right! Sheffield is an amazing place, with a lot to be proud of!

I went through Sheffield on my way to visit a friend in Leeds . Suburbs looked nice just remember the coach going past a massive steel works
