For some reason, as a non native speaker, I understand Yorkshire accent better than, let’s say, Londoner’s. Probably because of Arctic Monkeys 🙈 cheers, greetings from Italy!

Literally 90% of the people in this video don't have Sheffield accents. They're all Londoners or students from the south.

Sheffield is a fantastic city to live in. There is always plenty of things to see and do. You are only a 10 minute drive from the center for fabulous views of the country side, which not many people know about unless your from Sheffield !! It's well worth a visit if only for a weekend. Iv'e lived here all my life and never been bored with it and i'm in my early 60's !

I have just discovered Easy English, it is f.a.n.t.a.s.t.i.c.! The best way to learn new words and the pronunciation is listening to what people talk on the streets.
And subtitles are a must for non-English speaker.
thanks for sharing it, good job!

I'm live in Florida but my mom, grandparents and aunts were from Sheffield. They came to the US in 1929. I think I was one of the few Americans who had no trouble understanding a strong Yorkshire accent. The two gentlemen sitting on the ledge talking about decorators sounded just like my grandparents did! I can still hear my grandma chiding us kids not to go mucking about!
