Elon Musk Just Declared Starship Second Orbital Launch Date and It's Sooner Than You Think!

It's only been four months since the first Starship went up into space. We all remember waiting for that day, especially given the numerous delays and rescheduling that had us on the edge of our seats. A lot of people were unsure if SpaceX would actually launch the rocket on 20th April. But they did, and it was amazing.
Now, there's more exciting news. They are gearing up for their next major milestone: the second Starship launch into space.
July and August have been notably successful months for SpaceX, marking significant strides in the preparations for the imminent Starship flight. Among these preparations, the most significant one has been the static test firing of its Starship Super Heavy Booster 9. While the test aimed to ignite its liquid methane-fueled Raptor rocket engines for "just under five seconds", it was cut short at approximately 2.74 seconds due to an unexpected shutdown of four out of the 33 Raptor engines.
This was also the inaugural engine test incorporating a newly installed water deluge system at the launch pad, an addition made after the fateful Starship integrated test flight on April 20. That particular flight culminated in a dramatic, high-altitude detonation over the Gulf of Mexico and resulted in considerable damage to the impressive Starbase launch facility situated in Boca Chica, Texas. The sheer power of the rocket’s exhaust was demonstrated as it tore through the concrete base of the launch mount, propelling chunks of concrete airborne and creating a substantial cavity.

So, returning to our main topic: the second launch date. There's chatter that SpaceX is targeting August 31st. How did we come to know this? Well, in a recent confirmation of their intended second launch schedule, SpaceX communicated with the U.S. Coast Guard, indicating a planned launch on August 31st, 2023. It's standard procedure to issue these notifications ahead of major launches. Such notices not only verify the intended flight date but also prioritize maritime safety. This way, vessels in proximity are made aware of possible risks associated with rocket launch events.
Starship has been through Over a thousand modifications in preparation for this launch. Significant advancements are already evident in both Ship 25 and Booster 9.

The most heartbreaking personal experience that Musk has confirmed to me is that yes: some people will tear you down for your success, because of your success.

Thank you Mr Musk for showing me that success does stand on its own merit, and does eventually win out against the haters.

Uma missão seria trazer a Starship intacta de volta para a Terra! Economicamente seria muito bom também!

Environmental groups do not have standing. Big portion of money they receive from donations from out of district and out of country. Of 60 cases where Trump went to court to overturn election result 57 tossed on issue of money used by people raising the case being from out of district.
Applies in Brownsville.

Pediria no primeiro momento utilizar três grandes para-quedas! Para pousar em Marte todos os recursos auxiliam para um pouso mais confiável possível! No mais muito boa sorte e muitas pessoas vão assistir o lançamento histórico! Estamos anciosos!

The most important part was very quickly mentioned .. SpaceX now has to change .5:45 "SPACEX MUST MODIFY IT'S LICENCE TO CORPORATE THOSE ACTIONS.. BEFORE RECEIVING AUTHORISATION TO LAUNCH AGAINA" ... if somebody can explain to me the meaning of this, please?

420 is not the same as “the 20th of April” “April 20th”

Stop dissing the great leader.

Elon's introduction of Dynamic Interstage (Skirt) Pressurization Scheme disguised as "Hot Staging" and integration of Vent Ring into structure of the rocket ensures that next test flight will be very short as Elon's rocket will explode on the launchpad.

Well by Musk's timeline, Starship was already supposed to have taken people to Mars... but that big silver turd hasn't even made it into orbit yet lol
