25+ NEW Non DLC Features In ARK: Aberration Ascended

Here is 27 New features and some new map changes that have been added to the NEW Aberration map in ARK: Survival Ascended.

Another new feature is that I somehow forgot to check the Alpha Basilisk. Which will drop the Aberrant Sword skin. I'm blaming lack of sleep. 🤣

The map in general is hard on the eyes! The Fire coming in like that though looks SICK! Reminds me of the Terminator movie haha.

the fasola didn't surprise me cause they live and travel underground so finding them in an underground map like this makes sense, don't know abt gigaraptor tho idk what kinda logic u put there lol

That incoming firestorm reminds me of The Chronicles of Riddick movie, where the prison Riddick ends up on with the giant red/grey cat dog monsters is underground due to the daytime of their planet being scorched like Aberration. There is a scene where they escape the prison and end up having to outrun the sun and it was always so stressful to watch.

I feel like WC should give us a new creature vote for Ragnarok if the Gigantoraptor is gonna be everywhere. It needs more than just nostalgia, a Scotland biome and uninhabitable snow biome to be unique

So many bugs right now, they didn’t even test out the map at all. Games all choppy with that performance update on consoles, climbing picks get you out of the map, and things won’t even render like the Z plants unless you’re right up on it. Not to mention there’s probably many more bugs that are undocumented. They just need to make a huge patch hopefully fixing all of the broken things. They should consider doing beta testing for new maps give players the opportunity to try out the maps and to give feedback of bugs/ broken mechanics

In aberration some redwood trees can be broken by very big creatures (bosses) and some don't the ones that don't can be snapped with a tree platform

I am disappointed that the pounce is gone. I play single-player, and it added to the challenge. Still will have some fun when I get around to play aberration. I have some unfinished busieness about to fight the Alpha Dragon, Overseer, and transfer my army to scorched to for the Manticore then I should be good to go.

Will probably edit the spawns so there are no Pyromanes and maybe the Yi Ling. I am looking forward to the Spider though

the presence of Fasolasuchus and Gigantoraptor surprises me a little, I thought that Fasolasuchus would only stay on Scorched Earth even if I really like Fasolasuchus aberrant

Honestly asides from pyro, I am pleased to see fasola and giganto on Ab. It makes the game feel more abundant and not like “hey this creature is extinct everywhere else”.

The fact that finally, after 7 FUCKING YEARS, you can FINALLY use a Charge Node to transer out is insane. Do you have any clue how often I got stranded on Abberation with no way out other than a drop. I can finally play Ab like a regular map.

Disappointed to find out that I can’t build a tree house, even found the spot I wanted to build my base on that has big trees. I really hope that’s fixed with an update.

So why no new caves, we got like 3 new caves on scorched but nada for like Abberation. I was so excited to see what new caves they were gonna cook up seeing as this is the cave map but no nothing

4:57 cliff plaform didn't seem to snap very well when I tried it, either. I did manage to get it after awhile, but it definitely wasn't where I wanted it.

Ravagers having the glowing backs makes them easier to avoid now xd less deaths from ravagers thanks to that small detail change
