I was told I couldn’t wear a hijab in the hospital and in my work so many times because I didn’t look Muslim. So much change needs to happen. Thank you for your example we need more people like you. You opened my eyes to so much. I’m not perfect but wearing a hijab has made me feel the safest in some spaces and the most endanger at the same time.
