Fun fact the reason Luigi was such a problem is because he's the "rival character" for King Boo. I don't remember which video I saw it in but depending on which character you play as other characters will play significantly better Like if you're playing as Mario, Bowser will play better and vice versa

The tractor beams must work off the same logic as the bubbles on maps like squeaky clean sprint and parhanah plant cove, where they do send you up and are trickable. That's actually a really smart system.

Worth noting that GP stands for the Mario Kart Arcade GP series of games (coincidentally, they are technically running on GameCubes lol), the beach course is a beta course from Mario Kart DS and the last track you played is actually a Mario Kart 64 custom track.
