A bird landed on my open window a few months ago and I used Google Lens to search for it. It immediately told me what bird it was. I was blown away. I use it very regularly now :D

its great but when I try to use the reverse image search thing it gives me a disorganized mess of different image sizes instead of largest to smallest

I'm surprised MORE people don't use this. The only reason I have been referring people to it more often is the retail store I work at sells a lot of tools (Home Depot) and people come in with strange tools and objects that are hard to describe almost every day. Or they come in with something common and no one knows what it's called. Since our mobile app integrated with Google features we now have the search by image feature along with many other search features that make finding items easier and faster for employees and customers. It's really made inventory management much easier as well. Now if only people would properly label items when they put them back or take some quantity out from overhead without marking down the quantity in overhead management. I think being able to do an actually accurate inventory that takes into account the discrepancies of what is ACTUALLY on hand VS what the system says a store or warehouse MIGHT have would be immensely helpful. If Google could create logs for each store and employees could mark down actual quantities for a year or more the more data recorded the more a pattern could be created for something like an algorithm to make accurate assessments of actual on hand items that are more accurate than all the counting done in store and all the errors in the system. Of course there are new problems that arise with this kind of system yet I think some of the same technologies and older technologies could be used to help prevent things like shrink.

Google lens is the best thing since sliced bread, just what I wanted. So now when my little puppy pug attacks a plant I can check to see if its safe, without looking up a book or whatever. Magic.

i just used it for the first time today. Y'know I've been googling stuff my whole life. I feel like this is the future way of doing that. It just feels so right.

I remember going for a walk with my advisor in the forest, and he pointed to a flower species and talked about it, but he forgot its name. I opened Lens and in just a second, he had an answer.

Faced with the daunting task of organizing photos into the right places Google Lens was the answer.
My introduction to GoogleLens was through Google Tech Support during solving issues.
After discussing issues I sent A LOT of photos as Google requested. Shortly there after I received just what I needed. The puzzle pieces in the right spots.
Google lens does the same but one picture at a time. The more photos you have to work with the better. If In the future another picture fitting the same criteria matches it automatically applies the photo to the correct group.

Google, I've been waiting for 3D holographic movies (without having to wear glasses) TV, media, since the 1980s, before I'm 6ft under. Its been 40 years since I first saw 3D, surely that is more than enough time to crank out the 3D. Imagine the mountains of flat screen TVs in landfills unless there's a easy way to incorporate 3D into what we already have... *and not create even more non biodegradeable waste, as we have been doing for so long.*
