Hello from Boston, here is my hack for wearing a beanie hat: if you side-part your hair, flip it to the other side before putting on the beanie. When you arrive at your destination, take the beanie off and shake or finger comb it back to your normal side. Instant volume, no flat “hat head” hair

I will apologize in advance as I will need to correct you in regards to Fedora hats. I live in Canada. You need to cover your ears and ensure no heat escapes from your head. Cashmere and Wool beanie hats are the best to keep your body protected from the harsh winters. In Canada we get -30 degree weather.

When wearing a dress or skirt, tights are great but I also add a pair of warm socks to go over the tights and then put my tall boots on. Depending on the outfit, sometimes a little sock peeping out of the boot can be cute! Be sure to waterproof your boots each season if you live in snow country like I do. It'll save your boots and keep your feet warm and dry.

Guys! What about scarves??!! They’re such an underrated clothing item!!!! They can take your outfit from drab and boring to fabulous and chic in one step—-not to mention the additional warmth and functionality for winter 🧡

For really cold weather, I like silk long johns as my first layer, they make it easier to tolerate wool on top and are really thin and soft for layering. Cashmere socks are great, too.

Great looks- got some fun ideas. Another way to wear a blazer and keep warm is to add a Scarf. This is also a great way to add pop to the neutral winter coats.

Thank you for reminding everyone they can still wear pastels, whites, and colors in the winter. There is no need to make a dreary cold season even more so with black, brown and more black and brown for the next 5-6 months.

Did you know that Merino wool is anti-microbial? Thus, you can wear it several days and it won't get stinky! My stepson wears merino as a layering piece when he winter camps/bikes in upstate New York. Also, the socks are warm without adding bulk.

Kelly, I hope you are going to the mountain resorts when you come here to Colorado. We haven't had any snow here in the Denver area. The driest November on record. I'm bummed because I love the snow! We came from Orlando here and I prefer the weather here much more! So, I'm cheering for snow.

CuddleDuds are my best friend all winter! Also, Smartwool socks....you can even get the no show footies to wear with loafers. Wool really does make a difference.

I definitely agree about a statement coat. I have a long black wool coat and it is a very warm coat but kind of boring. My favorite color is red so I found a really nice red wool coat and I love it. It adds so much to an outfit..

Hi ladies! So on really cold days when you're going to be outdoors for a length of time, a great layering piece is 32 degree heat shirts. The fabric is sheer and theyare worn underneath everything in place of a cami or t-shirt. I enjoyed the video and got some great pairing ideas from you.

Hello Ladies! I love your trick for layering a turtle neck under a shirt! I appreciate seeing pictures of this being done as it inspires me to try doing this during our cold winter months here in Canada. Thanks again for a great video!

Some sweaters or blouses are just cold for the winter so I just put a tight cami/tank top under and it keeps me warmer. Loved the tips.

Some really good wearable and practical advice that looks great too. I follow the skinny on top/loose on bottom - loose on top/skinny on bottom rule too, and I love a blazer :)

Years ago I found a winter white & black houndstooth long wool coat. Still makes a statement but also goes with a lot of things.

I love the intro on today's video! Also that you always show so many examples with each hack - it's so helpful! Thanks for focusing on keeping warm even though you live in south Florida. I live where it's cold and will use every one of these hacks.
