Research shows that people with ADHD have a higher prevalence of migraine. We know that ADHD and migraine are comorbid, and some symptoms of a migraine attack look a lot like ADHD symptoms… think inability to focus and restlessness. But what do we know about people living with migraine and their ADHD symptoms? A new study, published in the Journal of Attention Disorders, shows that adults with episodic migraine may have a higher prevalence of ADHD and impulsivity symptoms. The study authors said more research on the relationship between migraine and ADHD can help us understand the causes and connections.
