Buying the Cheapest Scythe!

I buy the cheapest scythe I can find on the internet to test how effective it is and answer the question of whether it worth buying a very cheap scythe or whether you should buy an expensive one.

Both handles can be removed and point outwards if needed. Only one handle can be slid. The end one remains as the end one. Great video

Great, informative content. It seems that a person would need some experience setting up a blade. Perhaps you could look at a scythe that would be easy for beginners to use, while it would be more expensive it could prove to be easier to use and therefore give a new person an actual decent scything experience rather than a difficult one.

I have this same scythe, both handles need changing over to the front to align inside the blade and closer together, the balance will then be ideal without digging in the ground . I did straighten the snath a tad by easing my foot on it to lower the angle of the blade, it a dream to use providing it's sharp.
