Loneliest Person 2020

On May 15th, 2020 my dear friend and songwriting partner Phil May, renowned singer from the one and only PRETTY THINGS passed away - way too soon! Today is his memorial, resp. funeral.This song from the legendary PT album "S.F.Sorrow" (1968) was one his very favourites. Whenever a guitar around he would grab it and mostly started off with this tune. Wonderful! Well, another good one gone. He'll certainly regroup tonight with all my other heavenly brothers -Robert P., Levon H., Bobby K., Ian Mac M. - Rest In Peace my dear friend!
...and to all of you out there, my friends, family, followers -(hate the word "Fan") - next time we gonna meet, I have some wonderful "Phil-Stories" to tell!

Fantastic version of the song. Carl has the talent to make every song his own and not simply cover it. Hope one day he will record versions of Redemption Song and Tobacco Road, too. The songs blew my mind in concert. Looking forward to the Songdogs tour in 2021 if the virus allows it this time.
