My wrist has sharp pain when bending back it’s been going on for 10-15 years I played high contact sports through college. I can literally bend my wrist in every direction except back without pain.

I was told by my chiropractor that I have tenosynovitis. It's has been doing well. However, myself and a friend lifted heavy furniture the other day and now the pain is excruciating.
I will need to see my dr and have them refer me to someone who can help me. I do believe I need an MRI on it so that we can pin point what is going on in there.
Ty for this info!

I am due for surgery at the end of this month after an injury occured resulting in the widening of the scapholunate interval, 5 months ago. However i now in doubt whether i actually need surgery as i have regained about 85/90 percent movement in my wrist.I have already returned to doing excerises with light weights up 2 X 15kg dumbbells max.Today after 5 months i managed to do 10 push ups(which was my goal) albeit with a little bit of pain and discomfort.I feel with physiotherapy for maybe a couple months i will be back to at least 95 percent without surgery.I will keep you posted.

I remember I couldn’t bend my wrist very well. I was afraid to go to the doctor because I thought that he/she might tell that I needed an operation.... It took around 6 to 12 months of leaving it alone but it is functioning normally now without an operation.

Idk wtf to do, I got into a fight and slammed the kid 60lbs heavier than me and landed on my wrist and elbow. I can move it but I never felt a pain like this in my life, I’m a waiter and can’t afford to be out of work nor wanna go for surgery (no health insurance)
Supposed to go back to work today and really don’t think I should

I have a wrist injury from past 1 year. I can move my palm in all directions but it hurts deep inside my wrist when I apply some pressure on it, particularly when I do some pushing exercises like pushups. What kind of injury is this and how can I fix this?
