I was fortunate enough to see him in concert once. It’s amazing that such a tiny man could have such an incredible stage presence and powerful voice! He might as well have been 7 feet tall!

Dio has left behind a veritable library of material from bands like rainbow to Black Sabbath to solo you just can't go wrong with any of his work I can't think of a bad song

I drove 8 hours with two buddies from rural NV to Salt Lake City in a soft top Jeep to see DIO. Never forget it. Saw DIO about 12 years later in Las Vegas he didn’t miss a beat.

After all these years i still get tears in my eyes when i remember he isnt here anymore...R.J.Dio was my ticket into the world of Heavy Metal. I cant tell how often his voice was in my ears when i am going to sleep as a was an unbelievable talent, a wonderful person and yes, he is one of the legends....maybe THE legend. greets from germany, rock on!
