Create a FREE Interactive PDF for Kindle Scribe to Sell Online - Canva Tutorial

One of the great benefits of the Kindle Scribe and similar epaper notebooks is that you can create your own interactive PDF files, with hyperlinks, that you can use yourself or sell on platforms like Etsy, Gumroad or your own website. Many different types of products can be created including planners, diaries, prompt journals, kids handwriting books and puzzle books. With the market for the Kindle Scribe still in its early days, the demand for these interactive books will only grow. In this video I show you how to create an interactive planner, complete with hyperlinks for free using the Canva software suite.The same principles can be used to create the other types of books mentioned above. These digital products are great for starting and building an online business as they are cheap and easy to create and have very high profit margins. It is even possible to create a recurring passive income with them.

Great video, but the issue with canva only allowing 200 pages is a pain in the butt. Any chance of a video how to do this with indesign, photoshop or powerpoint if its possible to do it in those. Thanks very much, love the tutorials, they are mega helpful

Also just so your viewers know. You can do 'change all' and do all the font changes at the same time in the whole document you don't have to do it page by page. As others have mentioned cannot do 365 pages in Canva so you would be best to do a 6 months or weekly instead of daily and have them down the page.

Great video. You can automate the page creation in Canva through importing the text through a csv file in bulk create section. Saves a lot of time. Obviously you still need to add links.

Since you're making it, why wouldn't you optimize the document size for the screen size on the Scribe? It is 8.27x6.2 inches

Again your content across multiple platforms ( Yeah I did some due diligence and saw that your creative talents are not YT or KDP specific) is amazing. You combine that cool demeanor, knowledge and personality to create some great vids.
One suggestion to you for your interactive PDF might be when you make a note on a specific days page have the content or at least an abbreviated form of it show up in the main month page in that dates box, a quick reference, if you will, for ease of seeing your schedule weeks or months in advance.

Most of my books are medium content with spaces for readers to write or answer questions, and I would love to publish them as ebooks in addition to the printed version.

How do you make a daily planner for a whole year using this technique when Canva has a 200 page limit? Once you reach your 200 pages and need to start a new PDF, how do you hyperlink back to your yearly and monthly pages that are in the seperate first document?

Hi Paul, I am Paul too. :) Thank you for the steps on CANVA to create the annual planner for 2023. I followed your steps, but a message popped up when I was creating the pg 214 on 20th July. We couldn't save your design because it is too large. Remove elements or pages from your design to resume saving. Did I do something wrong? I subscribed to CANA's paid version, but didn't work.
