So several studies and a body of research actually look at the effects of fasting and fasting mimicking #diets on inflammatory conditions.

But believe it or not fasting can have a direct anti inflammatory effect by even reducing the amount of specific white blood cells in circulation to lower the inflammation in that person!

Just another example of the power of fasting to help us!

I enjoyed your explanation, thank you. I suffer with osteoarthritis in my knee and participating in intermittent fasting for about six weeks. I mix it up a bit, started on 16/8, then OMAD for a week and back to 16/8 with one 36 hour fast somewhere along the way. The improvement in my knee has been amazing, I can actually exercise it now so I’m going to continue and hopefully regain all my mobility.
