Thanks for your videos that you have taken. We have our second home in Crete but now we are in Finland with my Cretan husband.
You could take a video around Lasithi Plateau. You have 17 small villages there. You can at the same time check how they are working at Kastelli airport. Maybe you can make short interviews with local people too, how they are thinking now. Many greetings from Finland!

The first church of Titus, the Apostle, in Chandax was
single spaced. It appears that in the early phase of the
Venetian occupation of Crete (1210) certain modifications
were made to the building after the Latin (Roman
Catholic) Archbishop settled on the island. A circular
skylight was opened on the facade of the building and a
campanile was annexed to its SE corner. That building
was destroyed in the first half of the 15th century, but it
was reconstructed. The second church, which was
inaugurated on January 3, 1446 by the Latin Archbishop
in Crete, Fantino Dandolo, was a basilica with a wooden
roof. It was decorated with marble of rare quality, with
Holy Altars and Chapels. The building suffered minor
damages due to an earthquake in 1508, but it did not lose
its grandeur; it was destroyed, however, by fire on April 3,
1544. The sacred relics and valuable articles of the church
were not burnt; among those were the Skull of St Titus
and the icon of the Virgin the «Messopantitissa».

Hi Zameer! Thanks for the video and the tip for the free parking! It is really in walking distance from the center, so the location is perfect. The only remark for fellow travelers: there are no lights at all at night, so after sunset it is really dark and I am not sure how safe it is... we didn’t have any trouble though.
