I lived in Mexico City in 2021 and have been to Sayulita. You’re right, especially after the pandemic hit, you get approached constantly by people asking if you want to buy this or that and you do have to appreciate that these people are hustling and not resorting to crime or simply asking for a handout (although a few still do). The vast majority are working and trying to earn an honest day’s living. 👏👏
