I just sold the XP900 in the video because I liked the XP1000 so much better, I have another one being delivered 9/9/2013 in white.

Speed is close, but the seat of the pants feel is much greater. The new XP1000 is by far a superior machine.

for the price no contest....900xp all day stock 88hp...pluses clutch kit and two brothers duel exhaust and I still have less in it then 1000....not saying I can beat a 1000 but they sure as he'll will not walk away from me....orange madness all the way

That's exactly right. The suspension is the big win. There's only .5 lbs power weight ratio difference between the two. Simple math will tell you the 1000 will barely beat a 900 every time....flat. But put them on bumps...no contest.

You haven't driven one if your saying that. I own a 900xp an Drove the XP1K yesterday at the Annual Polaris Picnic and the XP1K is so much nicer of a machine my only gripe is that you can't get it without EPS.

83mph in the XP1000 and right around 72 in the XP900.

your right and if you sit down and put it on paper then for the cost you can make your 900 out run the 1000 already seeing it dollar for dollar you will not beat the 900xp. I am not saying the 1000 is not better in stock form but 20k before you mod it...no thanks

I had my 900 up to 82MPH and its completely stock.

theres no doubt that the 1000 is faster but I had to lol when I saw the driver of the 900 at 202lbs (left handed) and the driver of the 1000 121lbs (right handed)

looks like a waist of money to me...just as buying a 900 vs 800s ..800s is all you need...when are you going to get over 40mph on the trails..unless your jumping dunes waist of money..its nice but its not $6k nicer than 800s who cares about a drag race..can it climb better..I doubt it.. I have 900 all day long try to leave me in the woods..and it never happens
