I have an LP60. I've had it for about ten months and I love it. I hooked it up to a simple little set of bookshelf speakers we've had in the family for at least 7 or 8 years. It's great for someone like me who's only been actively collecting for about a year, and only has about 150 records, including 45s.

You can replace the stylus from a AT-LP60. Look up, replace stylus for LP60 on google. You'll find out how on the Audio Technica blog it self. They have replacements stylus for the LP60 for sell.

You should make a video of all the bad modern record players out there to avoid such as the crosley haha.

My choice would be Technics SL range for anyone wanting high quality at an affordable price. I have the SL-D303 and it sounds great.

For the ATLP60, you actually can replace the "needle" or stylus as it's called. You cannot replace the cartridge however. The stylus comes right out and can be upgraded to a better one.

I have the exact silver Audio-technica turntable and love it. I love the fact that the pitch adjustment works so well too. When it’s in the middle it truly is the correct speed.

To be clear (because no one seems to ever mention this), ANY turntable with a built-in pre-amp or a turntable going through a external pre-amp (boosting the signal to line level) can be plugged into a computer ...no USB needed. You'd just plug into the line-in or "microphone" input. All you need is the right cable (2 RCA to stereo eighth inch). You can then record on your computer using whatever; Audacity for example. The ONLY difference here (besides the connection) is that instead of the turnbable doing the Analog to Digital conversion, your computer is doing the Analog to Digital conversion.

Dude, your voice makes me want to slip into a smoking jacket and sip brandy from a crystal snifter.

I like how the santa emoji matched up with the man on the record cover in the back. 😊

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was just about to buy a Crosley on sale for $50 bucks at Urban Outfitters. After seeing prices for other record players, it seemed too good to be true. Your videos really helped, and I'm going to buy that Audio Technica :)

I'm still using a 35 year old Kenwood I bought new.

Audio Technica LP-60: The stylus (needle) can be replaced, and should be every thousand hours or less. The cartridge can't be swapped with a different type. I assume that's what you probably meant, but it was a little fuzzy. You COULD replace a damaged cartridge with the same type, but probably not worth the money or effort. Connect the non-USB type (as with any line out, pre-amplified turntable) to a computer with a female RCA to 3.5 mil. plug (headphone type) cable, or a female RCA coupler to male RCA to 3.5 mil., OR 3.5 mil. from your receiver's headphone jack to 3.5 mil. into the computers audio input for a few dollars. Connect any pre-amplified audio source that has RCA outputs or a headphone jack to your computer this way (external turntable pre-amp, tape deck, shortwave radio, junk Crosley with the odd and kind of rare headphone jack, Walkman, old crap General Electric boombox, etc.). Download Audacity recording software for free. The audio will still play through your computer even without Audacity.

I bought a Technics 1210mk2 in near mint condition off eBay a couple of months ago and it's the best turntable I've owned by far!

Got a Stanton T92 a couple weeks ago. Comes with preamp, USB, high end (and replaceable) cartridge. It has adjustable tracking force too. It's already the best turntable I've ever owned.

If i was a audiophile, i would definitly go for th $400 vinyl record player, but i also would go for a tube amplifier and stereo speakers for wich both has 3 speakers in it for wich each have a lowpass & highpass filter for sound saperation to get the best sound ever.
