Satellite spotting's a hobby of mine, and while I haven't tracked this chinese spaceplane I've seen the US X37B spaceplane go over a few times. If you have use of a bigger telescope - a 250 mm reflector or bigger - you can make out it's shape, and occasionally see things deploying from it. China isn't the only nation going hijinks up there.

China has done very well catching up with other countries in space. However what they seem to lack is the experience of early failure that was necessary by the earlier pioneering countries. True China has wisely built their technologies on this but what is so sadly lacking here is imagination. Until China is capable of thinking outside the square with imagination they will always be playing catch-up.
