Uvalde school shooting: What we know about the timeline of events

The Texas Rangers have released a new timeline of events leading up to the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

Uvalde police waited 35-60 minutes before entering the school while kids bled out.
Then, tazed/arrested parents begging to go in themselves.
When they finally did enter, they checked on their own kids first (classy).
Proved incapable of opening a door to the room where the shooter was, waited for a key.
The armed school resource officer failed to prevent shooter from entering.
Uvalde swat was just there in February preparing for such a situation.
Uvalde police ignored every lesson learned since Columbine.
AND when they finally did enter the classroom, failed to neutralize the shooter, resulting in another child dying due to incompetence and eventually lying about the timeline.
FUN FACT-police is 40% of Uvalde’s budget.

It upsets me that the killer died. He deserved to rot in prison in solidarity confinement.he got an easy out while the families are left to suffer 💔

Imagine losing a mother to a shooting then losing your father to heart break, it’s really tragic, he loved his wife and mother of his children. It was too much for him, rest in paradise to every victim of this massacre and rest in hell to the shooter

If it's true the police officers waited from 40 minutes to one hour before entering the building, then the entire police force needs to be replaced and the officers who were too chicken to enter the building to save the children are now "Dead Men Walking". The parents of the deceased have God on their side for necessary retribution.

Many people had fault even those who received all these messages, it all could've been avoided. The weapon shop owner, the people that received all the messages and the officer's that stood outside that classroom door that were too afraid too go in and protect, shame on all those that could've done and did nothing...where were everyone's mind's.

Someone should have not completely stopped at a stop sign in the school, that would have sent the cops charging in there.

I know I’m not the only who is completely appalled and extremely confused as to how this all happened. 1) shooter kills grandmother. 2) Teacher props door open? For what reason? 3) after crashing the grandmothers truck on the edge of school property, manages to run to the school while firing on funeral home employees. Hides behind cars in parking lot, and somehow manages to find and enter the one door that was propped open? And find a classroom door that was not locked down yet even after all of that? On top of all that, the disgusting cowardice of law enforcement. I don’t care if they were receiving orders, you enter that classroom any way you can. Not wait for a janitors key. Failure on so many levels.

From a witness:
Officers baited the shooter by asking hiding children in distress to call out "help". When a child did this, the shooter shot him, revealing the location of the shooter so that an officer could take him out.

I have been following these Mass school shootings for a long time now, and I have noticed something interesting. Every time it happens, there is massive attention paid to the victims of the shooter, To the Gory details of the event, but one thing seems to always be left out. Nobody talks about the shooter themselves except in the most superficial way. Doesn't anybody think that the persons that instigated these horrible events, is worth some serious study to find out what motivated them? I'm sick of hearing them just brushed off as crazed lunatics. Very few of them actually survived the event. Wouldn't it be worth while to find them, talk to them, and find out what motivated them to do it? You don't cure a disease just by studying the victims. You need to study the disease.

Manufacturing an entire encounter with an entire made- up officer is a huge deal…. why isn’t anyone saying anything about that, and why isn’t anyone demanding to hear every second of audio concerning the negotiations, with a timestamp running live ?

Wasn't there a shooting just like this a little while ago? If nothing changed then, I doubt anything substantial would change in the next year so we should expect more cases like this.

I feel bad for the kids that survived because they had to see there friends dead or even worse bleeding right next to them

And most people who died because of blood lose so if the police just went in right away they wouldnt haven’t died

There was enough time for the cops to put a BOLO out on the shooter, and alert the nearby public areas of a potential shooter but nothing was done, their response is too slow; he initially shot his grandmother the police knew this and did not react quick
