Find out why your mind goes blank when reading...Have you ever read something, and after a few pages, you’re like “wait, what?” 🤨

Then you re-read the whole thing, but find yourself tuning out again?

Jim Kwik, speed-reader and Brain Coach, says it’s because we’re not asking the right questions.

Psychologically, we’re not ready to process the information, so it doesn’t register.😪

But when you know what to keep in mind, you become more attentive, and you absorb information easily.

It’s like remembering the name of someone you find hot - it’s effortless.🔥

The trick is to just ask yourself a few KEY questions about the information you’re reading.

In this snippet, Jim Kwik shares the three most important questions to ask yourself when learning something new.

Once you remember those, your mind transforms into an information SPONGE - you easily remember everything you read.🧽

The key is that learning, the work you do, the things you do, you have to enjoy and love it ... to love the work you do, to learn what you love and what interests you ... why children learn faster, because they are not burdened with everything that adults are burdened with, to earn, not to get fired, to love, to be loved, etc ... Staying a child in the soul is the key to everything, but it is very difficult when you are surrounded by social obligations and norms. ..love the work you do is a very important part of the whole story, which, unfortunately, is almost impossible in ordinary life, among ordinary people ... it is very difficult to dedicate yourself and build yourself and your "I" ... it takes a lot of strength and will to do it, but when it is done then everything is new and different and in my opinion a wonderful state, to be aware of yourself, your flaws and advantages, to be honest with yourself what you can and can't do and that accept it, accept yourself with good and bad qualities

How to remember what you just read/learned?

1)How can I use this?
2)Why I must do this? (Who's counting on this)
3)When will I use this?

When an intelligent person reads, they ask themselves a simple question:what do i plan to do with this information?

Immediate application of what I learn here: I can apply this technique to everything I learn from now on by taking notes. I have to do this because I often found myself forgetting what I learn and relearning is not fun especially for something I don’t use often but can be in handy situationally.

Fantastic points, the whole point of capturing and creating is highly beneficial in learning and is a common method of note taking for studying. My personal experience is it works really well to help memorise the material.
