If a clown with a butcher knife is at your door in the middle of the night, don't call the police. Just open the door and see what he needs. There are many reasons why a clown with a knife might come to your door in the night. He may be thirsty and need something to drink, he may be hungry and just wants something to eat, which explains the knife. Maybe he needs to use the bathroom or wants to use the phone. He may be lost and just need directions or he may have lost his cat and wants to ask if you seen it.
Don't just assume he's up to no good. Clowns are friendly people.
