Beidou definitely has to be one of the most unique and rewarding characters to play

as a beidou main, a tip for using her is lighting the grass with bennet e and then clicking her E. if you hold it you need to be hit twice by an enemy to get the max damage

Beidou is so good in electro charged team, her burst actually have the highest scalling burst in the entire game, if there's more than 2 enemies at can reach over 12000% scalling at level 13 !!

Her burst snapshots at the start of her animation so you need to wait a bit so she gets the Benny-buff. Also she really enjoys having Fischl in the team for energy and her burst is one of the strongest bursts in the game when there are at least 2 enemies close to each other.

Moga don't hold her E when u get the perfect swing thing, just click her E at the perfect time.

You can tell when you get a full/perfect counter when Beidou's e releases, the sky will turn darker, just like how Lisa's held E also turns the sky dark. Also the slash with appear bigger!

Its so sad that she gets so often overlooked. With constellations she can do absurd amounts of damage . Same goes for Ningguang. Maybe you should try Eula+Beidou

btw when swapping into beidou after using benny ult, u actually have to wait a moment before using her ult because she doesnt snapshot instantly like xiangling

There's a trick to farming crystal-flies.
Step 1.) Grab the first few you can reach.
Step 2.) Before the others despawn, teleport away (preferably to another region).
Step 3.) Teleport back to the crystal-fly spawn point.
Step 4.) The crystal-flies that you didn't catch will be loaded in their original positions.
Step 5.) Repeat from step 1.

I think if beidou’s counter was similar to Yunjin where you can just get full counter by holding, she would be so so broken.

Personally, I haven't experimented with Beidou, but I've heard that Childe can be a good dps with electro charge. It would be interesting to see that.

She's been carrying me since I started playing, I'm ar 57 now and I couldn't imagine doing abyss without her, she's just so fun with Yoimiya, Benny and Kazuha. Little tip, when you're inside Benny's circle, you should use the skill first and 5hen the ult, because her ult snapshots at the beginning of the animation, and the buff needs a second to activate. So if you ult right away, she'll snapshot without buff

Childe with Beidou, Fischl, and an attack buffer is an insane comp actually, you should try!

For those interested in the math, Beidou's ultimate has a potential *14, 538%* attack scaling, on C6, talent 13, and 2+ opponents. I'll explain:


The first hit (when she first uses ult) has a 258.4% scaling.
When her chain lightning begins, she gets one initial hit (204%).
At C2, it can bounce up to four additional times, for a total of 5 hits. (Strongest c2 in the game???)

Her ult has an internal cooldown of one chain lightning per second, and her ult is active for 15 seconds. Realistically, you'll only be able to get 14 hits in at most.



So quick maths:
Activation (258.4%) + (Chain attack (204% x 5) x Instances (14~)) = ???
(258.4) + (1020 x 14) = 14, 538.4%

They don't make four stars the way they used to.
Keep in mind, this is JUST Beidou we're talking about. There is no Bennet Ult, there is no VV shred, there is no thrilling tales bonus. These are only her scaling alone.

Other tips:
- Beidou Burst shield applies *after* snapshotting. That means Unforged will not grant her the double attack buff, unless another characters shield is on her already, when she uses burst.
- Likewise, Wolfs Gravestone effect will NOT proc when beidou is off field. She will need to be on the field when enemies are <30% to take full advantage of it.
- Put Emblem of severed fate on your Beidou.
- If you're not hurting for Energy recharge, I strongly recommend the four star weapon Akuomaru. It's an extraordinary weapon for her. Otherwise Katsuragikiri Nagamasa is a wonderful free to play alternative for her.
- Luxurious Sea Lord is outstanding on her if you lack afomentioned 5 star options.
- Her ultimate does INDEED snapshot, so take full advantage of attack boosts before using her ultimate. (looking at you Bennet.)
- Screaming *"FULL COUNTER!"* when you tap her E will increase your odds of getting a perfect parry.

If you hold beidou's e, you can observe a a sphere around her that disappears in about a second. Getting hit and releasing e within this window will make it a "perfect counter". But once you get used to it, you can simply tap and get hit and release naturally.
