I learned how you can Main DPS Beidou!

A little while ago I learned Beidou + Yaoyao have a very weird interaction, wherein Yuegui's radishes hitting Beidou count as Beidou being "attacked" to trigger her C4, which enables her to have extra on field electro application. Which means you can do some fun things with her staying on field more.

Here is the link to the two streams where I did a BUNCH of testing with the Bennett variation of the team. In many ways I think its more fun than the Fischl variation, but also harder to play and a bit more variable in its performance.

Random aside: I want variations of Fischl in other elements. But I also think that would be stupidly OP. She's frankly an absurd support/off fielder for electro units (or more specifically any team doing any electro reactions). Maybe Geo Fischl would be balanced though lol, and I would be happy to even have that! Geo could genuinely be buffed meaningfully by a unit that deals more damage the more crystallizes get triggered. Add that to the list of ideas for things that could've made a Chiori's kit interesting

Beidou is one of those characters that I like a lot yet almost never play anymore—so learning about this yaoyao synergy was a nice excuse to play her again! Tried a few aggrevate and quickbloom variations and quite satisfyingly stomped my test subjects. I think the one thing that let me down is I had secretly hoped her C4 could hit cores like her E does, which was unfortunately not the case.

She also does this with Sara btw, so you can do like kinda the same team but potentially replace Yao Yao with Nahida for more damage and dendro app.

Funily enough, Sara's skill and burst and Dori's tether also count as "bing hit" for Beidou's C4.

Beidou's always had a special place in my heart. I love the idea of on-fielding her in the Thundering Furry comp (in place of Razor) or to trigger tons of Fischl a4 passive. Thanks for showcasing interesting character interactions!

I love using that beidou/bennet team! In that team, you actually don't need yaoyao to trigger beidou's c4. It gets triggered when she gets hit by a burgeon or burning damage, so you can use nahida as your dendro. Plus if you use xingqui, she's pretty much unkillable with the rainswords, her own burst's damage reduction and bennet's healing, no matter what you're fighting.

You can also use burning(then just touch the bunring enemy) to give beidou and 100% chance to do her full parry attack as well as proc her c4.

I've had Beidou at c6 but as someone with serious skill issue i've never been able to really benefit from her parry damage, she's one of my favourites and decided to start building her so happy to see any Beidou videos

Beidou's C4 does have a 10s duration which is fairly forgiving if you can't proc yuegui consistently. and even then, being of field, she's bound to get hit here and there.

also, her burst would snapshot the buff (or lack thereof) from 4pc marechassee, so it should be used when she has full stacks.

Sol, I usually watch your vids for entertainment, but I might actually try this team out. My Yaoyao has been attached to a Tenacity set for a long time, even tho most guides say she should have Deepwood. This sounds like a great way to make the most use of Tenacity Yaoyao.

Additionally, with Bennett c6, the chance of getting burning means Beidou can equip Reverie, which I somehow ended up with a great set of, despite mainly going to Whimsy...
