I can't believe Dame Maggie Smith Passed away. She was one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITE actresses. I loved her in the Orginal Clash of the Titans as Thetis, as Mrs. Medlock in The Secret Garden, and as Mr. Docherty in Nanny McPhee Returns. When I saw she had passed. I literally said 'no f-in way'. She always seemed so young in the movies I've always seen her in. She is truly one of the ABSOLUTE BEST actresses of my time. I don't think any actress could come as close to her in bringing the characters to life like she did with every character she played.

It's very hard to learn of Dame Maggie Smith's death. It stunned me as the news flashed across the internet. She was one of the truly great actors of the 20th and 21st Centuries working on stage, film and on television via Downton Abbey. She was the recipient of quite lterally every award a lead actor can win including 2 Oscars, 3 BAFTAs, Several Golden Globes, a Tony Award for her work on Broadway, and 3 Emmy Awards for Downton Abbey - 2 for the series on PBS and one for the feature film Downton Abbey. She was a living legend. Her work was brilliant, a very intelligent actor much praised by her peers and by great producers and directors who worked with her in film and theatrical worlds fpr almost six decades.. R.I.P. Dame Maggie. You will be missed a great deal. This is truly a stunning loss.
