I sold my AT Max for the tried and true AT Pro and could not be happier. Newer is not always better.

Main points of the video:
1. Use the frequency with the least interference.
2. Drop your sensitivity comfortably.
3. Ground balance your detector.
4. Drop the threshold.

Ty, ty, ty.... garrett needs to compensate you or sponsor you. It's been 2 years since i purchased mine, 4 day trips, 5 or 6 videos, and lots of noise. I am someone who retains information from watching more than when i study from a book or reading, so watching is how i learn. It is 4 a.m., and i had no intention of giving it another go till now, so I am gearing up for an unexpected day of detecting. I just got done watching reviews on the Max and was kind of surprised to see people complaining about the chattering and the other issues that you just explained how to take care of.
