Wouldn't this make gold easier to get? Damage the zombie piglins so they spawn zombie piglin reinforcements then kill them for more gold.

I'm fairly certain of two additional things though:
1. When fighting a baby zombie it does in fact summon another baby zombie
2. Spawn conditions are ignored for these spawns. I have seen them happen in broad daylight and within the player.

Now we need ways to get lava (and to get blazes once in the nether, since structures wouldn't spawn... meaning no brewing stand, no potions...). And an alternative way to get to the end and beat the dragon.

In theory—but depends on how the reinforcements are coded, the same way Java zombies converting to Drowned don’t get tridents

Just wait for the villager zombie reinforcements, with some potions you dont need to breed anymore! Plus they are easy tu lure and give lower prices

The one major downside is that this will break every zombie reinforcement farm as they rely on that bug, to essentially double the reinforcement spawning making them self sufficient.

You can light up a theoretical nether portal with a trident by summoning a lightning at it, which will cause a fire, which will cause it to activate
