This is a very compact SSTC built into a inclosure with these dimensions 125W x 80D x 50H mm.
It features a halfbridge of IRFP460 MOSFETs with 330uF smoothing capacitor on the bus that is fed with fully rectified 230VAC.
Secondary is 50mm diameter, 200mm long, 1430 windings, 0.127mm enamelled copper wire with 2 beercan bottoms used for topload. Resonant frequency somewhere around 470 kHz.
Up to 140 mm long sparks.
The driver is using antenna feedback and is designed by Steve Ward.
