The chemical reaction on its own wouldn't be fast enough the small fibers inside of the sealant help plug up the hole while the reaction is happening

I do not understand how violently exiting air causes co2 to be generated. I thought the co2 inside the tire was spent. Wouldn't it need some fresh air to come in trough the hole? He is entirely focusing on the exiting air and not in the incoming.

Sealant has never worked for me, i tried it multiple times on my tires, i have friends that swear buy it, i even seen it work for them, but for me it all squirts out and it plugs up the tires air plug. Ive even tried rolling on the hole like friends said. So i just carried the rubber plugs you stab in.

I just figured the pressure from the tire kept it as a litquid but when a hole is made its pressure gets lower and dries
