Many years ago when NYC first started the ticket vending machine in subways, I asked the clerk in the booth to get me a ticket and he said no and pointed me to the machine. I said “you know, that will replace you someday”… he went mad and started listing his irreplaceable qualities. Needless to say, both him and his booth is gone now 😂

Digital menus are good for when you want to see what the restaurant has to offer, but when you're there trying to order, it's a pain in ass.

I make it a rule with my wife to never go to places where they force any of these ridiculous things. I have stopped going to many and actually saved money that way, win win for me😂

Yessss, I agree. If I have to create a whole account to eat at a restaurant, etc, I'm just going to order fast food and go home. It's ridiculous.

I've been saying this forever! Everything is getting more complicated for no reason! My daughter's school has 6 different communication method and each teacher has their own preference. Email, dojo, skyward, assignment notebook, google drive/forms (all with their own username/passwords), and then the basic phone call. Some teachers will yell at you for emailing them because they want you to dojo message them. It's insane.

Finally someone said it. I hate it if I have to scan the qr code. Like why?!?!?!?!. Just. Give. Me. The. Menu!!!!

I remember my boyfriend and I went to a restaurant and we asked for the menu after waiting for like 5 mins, and the waiter said, “scan this for the menu”
And we both looked at him and we’re like, “ we both don’t have our phones. We left it in the car” (to have more quality time and be away from our phone). He looked and said, “seriously?”
“Yes. Seriously” 😂
And finally gave us a paper menu 😅
