After the Meta announcement I recalled instantly of this interview from Marques, but something that shocked me even more is the fact that it's been a year already...it didn't seem that long ago!

As someone who is deaf and hard of hearing. I would love to have an AR glasses that has the ability to perform speech to text close captioning. This would be an epic tool for the hard of hearing folks! I've actually got to see a somewhat AR glasses at a movie theater that provided closed captioning glasses and that has surprisingly worked well for me during the movie! The only downside to that was that it was bulky to wear because of the pieces attached to the glasses making it a bit heavy and added with a form of card (like an SD card) to insert into the controller for providing the captioning to the glasses.

If you like going to movie theaters I could see people bringing their own AR glasses and you download an app from your phone and then sync the app to your AR glasses so that way when you go to the movie, once you purchase the movie ticket online, you open up the closed captioning app and it will find the movie that you purchased so then you can start streaming the caption to the glasses live during the movie.
