Moyu has released many cubes but the way you arrange them makes it much easier to pick
Thanks a lot cubicle

What Phil says: Ball-core
My brain: "BONK" -core

Is this just my ears, or the way Phil says "ball core" sounds like "bong core"

Im a moyu guy from way back. The wrm maglev is also super awesome. Its my gOD cube. Love it. I get the feeling that it's possible quite similar to the V9. I would imagine that's why it's not listed here.

You know it’s a good day when it’s Friday and the cubicle posts 😂

Got the WRM V9 a few days ago, set it up with Angstrom gravitas and Dignitas, and DNM 37; very buttery smooth now, and some really insane corner cutting

Phil just a little less than a year ago I bought a Rubik's cube in a Mexico Walmart. Lot of frustration, took a couple of weeks of painful effort to earn my first solve... With experience easier and easier....I'm 80 years old....keep/s my mind focused...great at airports..
My mind was set on the $4.00 Moyu which you highly recommend.... I love it. I'm not interested in Speed cubing...with a few shortcuts I learned through time, with this cube ...I'm happy with a 5 minute solve, , , That I can mess up if I let my mind wander...I am blessed with fine health..but do highly recommend senior citizens to learn to assist with good mental health... I love my $4.00 Moyu... never modified or needed maintenance I plan on getting it down to 4 minutes.... that's good enough for me . even at my age very busy... Love to watch the young kids and their dedication... The new Guiness record of 4.69 by that 9 year old boy what a great roll model. A great activity, these young dedicated kids will go far in life...with quick minds and execution...

Just got my Weilong V9 this week. Still getting used to the UV coating, but I love the cube so much I really don't care about the coating. I'm still fine tuning it. It's so ridiculously fast, even when tightened down to the max (which I want because the factory setup was a little floppy), I'll soon be putting some medium lube into the inner "feet". I've already lubed the spindles with Anstrom Gravitas. It's a fantastic cube, better than all my GAN's. If I had any complaints it's almost too magnetic, and it would have been nice to be able to dial it down to see if I really care about that, but I don't care that much so it doesn't matter. I will be buying at least one more of these.

Honestly needed this video, I dropped cubing for about 2 to 3 years now and come back to literally hundreds of new releases. I didn't even know where to start, but thanks for explaining and giving recommendations Phil.

Little idea : since you aligned the cubes on the table the whole video, why not put a sticker/paper/tag in front of each cube with its name on it :) So we can follow more easily your explanations : cubes are always similar visually.

My personal recommendation: Meilong 3M - RS3M 2020 - RS3M Super Standard - YS3M Ball core - YS3M Ball Core UV.

Meilong 3C sucks, and it's super super worth it to find just 2 dollars more and get the magnetic version. RS3M Super Ball Core doesn't make sense in my opinion: it's less stable than the Standard, and is twice the price. I'd also be cautious of the WRM v9 if you don't like super strong magnets.

I have the RS3M Super Standard and Ball Core, YS3M Ball Core and Ball Core UV, and WRM v9. Out of these, my favorites are RS3M Super Standard (for budget and as a travel cube) and YS3M Ball Core UV.

Still Wrm 2019 for me is the best performing moyu cube I have.

Great video. I actually just picked up the RS3M Super: Mag Lev/Ball Core. I think it will be a great fit.

The Meilong M is also worth mentioning. Quite a bit lighter than the RS3, great turning, great value. The YS3 ball-UV is my main and I love it for the super smooth turning and stability, but my best AO5 is still on the Meilong

I tried these cubes and personally the best one to get is the rs3m ball core because it's cheap and the ys3m is just a more expensive version and the weilong v9 is to uncontrollable and corner twists

Just got my Weilong V9 from the Cubicle on Friday! As a Gan man, I must say... I'm impressed and on the verge of replacing my Gan 12 main. It's amazing what difference 1mm can make though. If I could change one thing about the V9, I'd prefer 56mm or even 55.5mm. But I will say it's the best 55mm I've used (looking at you Tornado), and I'm already getting some very nice times.

Any thoughts on which to get as a beginner? Super (the normal magnet one) or V5 dual adjustment?

Great video overall, but I will say - I think including the Meilong 3C is kind of strange / unnecessary ; I don't really think there's any scenario that someone should be getting that over the RS3 M, the only reason would be the price but the RS3 M is essentially only a single Starbucks coffee more expensive than the 3C :P
