We’ve sure come a long way when it comes to telescope technology! Fellow space enthusiast Trace Dominguez dives into a brief comparison of two of the world’s most famous scopes - Hubble and the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).

See some of the first images from Hubble and JWST and learn how they were made to complement each other!

Launched in 1990, Hubble gave us our first glimpses into the early universe by studying the expansion of space itself. Its first image showed the stark contrast between ground and space-based observations. JWST, launched in 2021, takes this to the next level with 100x more power and sensitivity to faint, red-shifted light from the earliest galaxies.

The first stunning JWST image revealed intricate details never before seen and left experts wondering - what's next? What else will we uncover about our vast cosmos? With hundreds of telescopes advancing this technology every day, the future of space imaging is brighter than ever.
