Skyrim - Bard's Song (female) - The Age of Oppression

This is one of the songs you can request to the many bards scattered around Skyrim in all the different tavern. This one is called "The Age of Oppression" (female version) and is an ode to Ulric Stormcloak, leader of the rebellion against the empire to free Skyrim from the invaders. Enjoy.

I love the fact that both this and the age of aggression are so similar, i don't think it was out of laziness, i think that they did it to show that both stormcloaks and imperials love Skyrim and its people and want nothing more then to see it prosper weather it be under Ulfric or the empire, ALL of its people want 1 thing. a Skyrim as strong as its people.

Ulfric could easily kick out the dark elves if he wanted to, yet he allows them to have shelter in his city. They are probably far better off than the millions of people who live in refugee camps in the real world, and the same goes for the Argonians who live outside the city. And if Argonians were allowed into the city, where would they live? Argonians invaded Morrowind so it might be a good idea to keep them at some distance from the dark elves.

Luaffyn is easily the best bard in Skyrim by far. Why? Because she has the best female voice. Being a great bard has nothing to do with your personal appearance, it's all about the voice. With that said, imagine waking up to that beautiful voice every morning! It's too bad she's not a marriageable character...

I think it's very funny that the bard you're most likely to hear this song from is Mikael.

The song being a tale of an arrogant man thinking he can do what he wishes as he's a proud nord warrior until put in his place.

Mikael is similarly a proud nord male who is overly proud of his own achievements and charm, so much so that someone literally asks you to make him stop. Making you the Matilda to his Ragnar.
